So far, building the track has been difficult. There is a minimum distance requirement, which is judged in a straight line between checkpoints. So you have to stagger checkpoint placement in a way that makes 2-3 laps around the roof count as one "lap" for the game. Also, it's easy to miss the checkpoints if they aren't placed perfectly, because they can only be put on flat surfaces.
One good thing is you can add up to 50 objects, including concrete walls and/or fences, making racing at the track more fun/forgiving.
Check out some of the shots we took while building our own version of the course:
Check out the banking in the corners. Just don't go over the walls. |
We tried fencing for the other end of the track, to stop you from flying off. |
Of course, what's GTA without a consequence or two. We put an exploding propane tank at the outside of one of the corners. If you were unlucky enough... BOOM! |
Well.. crap. |
